There is something very special on the other side of clutter. It is a feeling of peace, contentment, and all is right with the world.

Interestingly this feeling is hard to imagine. It is not something we can fake until we make. There is no manifesting our way out of a mess.

Clutters physical weight is felt as a mental toll. You can’t run from clutter, disguise clutter, or hide clutter. Stuffing everything in closets won’t help, I know.

If you don’t believe me, do this little experiment. Stuff a bunch of stuff under your bed for a week and see how you feel. Yes, it is gone, you take a deep breath and think great, I am good.

The next week get rid of the clutter from under your bed. Organize the mess, relocate, or dispose of.

This results in an entirely different feeling. The other felt good, this is like a breath of clean cool air. You feel lighter, the sun is shining brighter, and you have a deep sense of accomplishment. A bounce in your step.

You know this is true.
