4 Very Easy Spring De-Cluttering Tips
Improve your life, productivity, and sense of well-being
You know that almost magical feeling. You have cleaned out one of your messy closets, or that infamous junk drawer. You feel a deep sense of satisfaction, you are almost glowing.
A tidy living space allows energy to flow freely. It is said to create love, abundance, health, and wealth.
Yes please!
Here are four very easy to remember tips:
Step 1.
Start by cleaning up your cleaning products. If you are like me, cleaning products are all over the place. I am sure many are expired. I probably have way more than I could ever require. Take the time to get rid of outdated or non-essential products.
Step 2.
Reduce that wardrobe. De-cluttering a closet is overwhelming to most. It is often emotional. This task often takes longer than expected. Grab a friend, play some tunes, and dig in. Donate if you can. Reap the psychological benefits of a de-cluttered closet.
Step 3.
Start big. Work on your largest stressor. Kitchen, bedroom, basement? In the beginning you have momentum and motivation. Harness the power. Everything will seem much easier going forward.
Step 4.
Use sticky notes or labels to help you organize. These helpful little reminders ensure the return of items to their correct locations. Pantry items, donations, garbage, bedroom, basement and such.
We tend to binge de-clutter. We get so annoyed all of the sudden, living in chaos, we often go overboard. It is healthier to view de-cluttering as a lifestyle practice. Get into the habit, and it gets much easier.
Ready, set, go!
Get out your bags, bins, and labels.
Get ready to enjoy that magical feeling of a clutter free home.
Happy Spring!
