Confidence is more than “faking it ’til you make it” or “dressing for success.” To truly master self-confidence you require conscious deliberation.

A plan.

A framework.

Concrete steps.

And,

You need to dig a deep.

Feelings of insecurity and low-self-esteem are described as lacking self-confidence and self-worth. This is common. It is estimated that 85% of Americans suffer from insecurity and low self-esteem. And the number is probably much higher.

If you have ever experienced a lack of self-confidence, you typically view others as more worthy. You fear failure and making mistakes. You avoid taking risks. One sign of low self-esteem is the resistance to stand up for yourself.

Insecurity and feelings of diminished self-worth arise from childhood. Bad experiences. Could be a dysfunctional family, rejection by peers, abuse/trauma, distorted body image, unrealistic goals, and/or negative thoughts.

Don’t despair. There is good news! Confidence isn’t our birthright. Confidence isn’t innate. Either you have it or you don’t. No! We all have the power to transform ourselves into confident individuals with the right information and a little coaching.

Remember, no matter how amazing your business plan, or your limited edition art piece, without belief in your intrinsic value, success will not ensue.

Success begins in the mind.

Confidence is the fuel that torpedoes you over obstacles. The blast of energy to propel you to the finish line.

To develop self-confidence you require a blueprint and a bit of polishing.
