We are not in this Medium “game” alone. We can be the most prolific writer in the universe. What does it matter if no one is reading our work?
Success in all areas of life is built on relationships. As we get older, we realize the importance of networks, communities, social engagements and communication. Whether it be in a business setting, relationships with your kid’s teachers, your boss, your co-workers, your doctor, or most importantly the people closest to you, it is absolutely essential that we nurture relationships in all areas of our lives.
Medium is no different. Where would we be without our views, claps, comments, reads and fans? We would be nowhere. And where would our fellow readers be without us? Same place.
I think we are acutely aware of the importance of our network with our fellow Medium writers. We read and support them, and they read and support us. And for that we are grateful.
