Is this the dreaded writer’s block?
Mornings are usually my most productive time. Overflowing with ideas from my restless nights I am typically enthused and energetic.
Raring to go.
But not this morning.
I remind myself of the articles I have written that instruct just how to get those creative juices flowing. I am an expert I believe at creativity hacking. Think, think, think.
I am having trouble remembering just what they were at the moment.
Oh yes, there was the one about eating for creativity. I emphasized the importance of dopamine rich foods.
And colors. Yellow and orange get the creative juices flowing. And green is soothing to the eye.
And sound. Classical music, binaural beats, white noise, and video game sounds will jet propel you into creative artistry.
CREATIVITY AND SOUND!
Classical Music, White Noise, Video Game Music, Binaural Beats, Guided Mediation.
Lets talk scents. Lavender and peppermint provide a natural boost for inspiration and motivation.
Ok, this is a good start. I am going to grab my orange mug, my favorite fluffy yellow socks, put on some Bach, plug in my peppermint diffuser, munch away on an egg and avocado wrap, locate my favorite pen; the one that feels just right in my hand, and begin.
Tap, tap, tap, tap, tap.
I hope that you too find these simple creativity hacks of some assistance for those mornings you are facing this thing we writers refer to as writer’s block.
