These are ideas to help you avoid unnecessary stress and reduce holiday season chaos. People feel the weight of holiday responsibilities. Financial strain, gift selections and the processing the conflicting feelings of sadness and joy.

The holiday season is coming up fast so take a couple of deep breathes and let us look at some things we can all do to minimize stress!

Do things as early as time permits.

Develop your budget. Determine how much money you can spend?

Make your holiday card list.

Do your shopping as early as possible.

Gather and organize your coupons and discount codes.

Take an inventory of the food in your fridge and pantry.

Make a list of required items.

Cook and bake as time permits.

If travelling, make reservations early.

Plan fun holiday events for your family and friends.

Clean and declutter you living space.

Complete house cleaning.

Complete an inventory of your gift wrapping supplies. (especially scotch tape)

Take a look a your camera’s memory card and declutter.

And remember!

More isn’t always better!

Make your holidays meaningful!

Think about what is IMPORTANT to you and keep your priorities in mind. My grown children still look forward to stockings. Do what is important to you and your family and friends.

If you have time, sit down with your family and discuss what is important. Together you can plan ahead to make the holidays meaningful and memorable for everyone.

MAKE SELF-CARE AND PERSONAL TIME A PRIORITY!

YES!

EVEN IN THIS BUSY HOLIDAY SEASON!

Exhaustion and emotional meltdowns are not fun for anyone. Make time tol relax and enjoy the special season. If something is not working, or is too stressful, make attempts to eliminate or simplify.

Whatever it is that you celebrate, I am………..
