Do you ever wonder why some people just have the look of health, that special glow.

Do you question them about their latest skin regime or beauty treatments?

They must be on to something really special!

Right?

What could it be?

Foods have hidden powers.

There are some foods we should consume daily for our healthiest life and that quite, frankly, make us look really good.

LEGUMES

Legumes are jam packed with antioxidants. These antioxidants slow aging, fight disease and combat cell degeneration. While this doesn’t sound very sexy, legumes can prevent constipation, cancers of the digestive tract, and lower bad cholesterol.

Beans can aid in weight loss and have a positive influence on our hearts, blood sugar and life span.

Some suggestions are peanuts, green peas, kidney beans, navy beans, chickpeas and black beans.

AVOCADOS

Avocados are well deserving of their almost super food label. They boost our immunity, make our skin glow, and are full of nutrients. Avocados also contain healthy fats. Fat is necessary for functioning of every cell in our body. Avocados make us feel full fast and this can help with weight loss. An avocado a day has been shown to improve our digestive health.

Avocados slow the break down of carbohydrates which helps to sustain stable levels of blood sugar. Avocados make the best snacks.

DARK LEAFY GREENS AND CAULIFLOWER

High in iron, folate, calcium, carotene, potassium and Vitamin C, dark leafy greens like lettuce, are a great addition to your diet. They help to increase bone health, ward off heart disease and even fight cancer.

Some people hate broccoli while others can’t live without it. If you like it you are giving your body a powerful nutrient dense food proven to fight cancers and increase bone health.

Brussels sprouts are super cute and tremendously healthy and these little gems protect us from cancer, cataracts, and help to lower blood pressure with their high potassium content and provide Vitamin A, Vitamin C, and antioxidants.

What will you say the next time someone asks you your secret?
