You really can eat to create!

I have been discussing the importance of Tyrosine and Dopamine. Both of which are known to give creativity a boost? In a previous article, “It turns out that Tyrosine is a nutrient known for enhancing brain function ; specifically creativity. Dopamine is a neurotransmitter that induces feelings of well-being.”

Synergy at it’s best!

The first recipe I shared was Spicy Tuna Quinoa Salad.https://1birthdayfun.medium.com/eat-to-create-feed1688e597

Here we go:

Scrambled Egg and Feta Hash

Prep time is 7 minutes and cook time is 8 mins. Serves 1.

This recipe is from Joe Wicks bbdgoodfood

High in protein; easy to make and it will keep you full.

You will need:

2 tbsp. of coconut oil, 90g of cherry tomatoes, halved, 4 spring onions, chopped, 6oz feta, cut into small cubes, 3 eggs beaten, 1 tsp. of snipped chives, 110g of spinach.

Begin by heating the oil in a non-stick pan on low-medium heat. Add the tomatoes and the spring onions, cook gently for 3–4 minutes until softened.

Add the feta and cook for 1 min. to warm all the way through. Next pour in the chives and eggs. Place a handful of spinach on plate and top with the egg mixture. The remaining spinach can be served on the side.

Enjoy!
